Juicer Reviews Best Picks

My Juicer Reviews about the Best Juicers, are based primarily upon what I’ve used myself, through the years. So, the juicer advice you are getting from me About Juicers, is from someone who owns and uses them everyday.

Educate yourself, learn what juicer fits what you want, and shop around for the best deal. Start receiving the Benefits of Juicing as soon as you can. Additionally, you may also be interested in purchasing a blender to make nutritious Breakfast Smoothies.

I don’t have anything fancy, because I found out that is not what you actually need to create nutritious and delicious juices and smoothies. For example, some Omega Juicers are Single Gear Juicers like My Omega 8002, and others are Twin Gear, but they both will also juice Wheatgrass far superior than a Centrifugal type juicer will. It's all a matter of how much money you want to spend, how fancy you want to get, and how you like the texture of your juice to be.

As I stated previously on other pages, I have…

* 2 Vita-Mix Super 5000 blenders,

* 1 Omega 8002 juicer,

* 1 Juiceman Jr. juicer,

* And, a Citrus Juicer.

What do you want your juicer to do?

juicing detective It's all about what you intend on using your home juicer for, so make sure you do your own juicer reviews, and search for that machine which will serve your specific needs. For example, I have attachments to my Omega which will let me do anything from grinding Coffee to making my own Pasta.

But, I only use the juicing machine to Juice Fruits and Vegetables. Although, I can always get motivated, and make my own homemade salsa someday, instead of buying the bottled kind (Like I still do) at the store. Make sure you know what each machine will do, and only buy the one that does only what you want it to, so you save money and don't have features you will never use. The newer omega models 8003 are white, (Like mine in the picture above) and the 8005 is chrome, Here.

To begin juicing and make your own smoothies, I recommend going the cheapest way possible, at first. After you decide you are going to stick with juicing, then you can invest in a juicing machine with a better warranty that will last you a lifetime.

If you are low on cash, you can go to almost any thrift store and find a used blender, and sometimes even a decent starter juicer. They have plugs to test them there. It’s best to let your fingers do the driving and call these places before you physically arrive, to ask them what they have, so you don’t waste your gas.

I own a couple Vita-Mix blenders which cost me a pretty penny (Over a thousand dollars for both.) They, like the Omega will also do almost anything under the sun. For example, the blender is so powerful and spins so fast, you can actually cook soup in it. There are many things you can create with this blender, but I don't use its full potential.

Again, I use my Vita Mix for only one purpose, which is making smoothies. I could have saved hundreds of dollars if I were to buy only what I needed, which was an ordinary blender. So, I urge you to determine by your own juicer reviews how you intend to use what you are buying, and purchase only that. My motto is to keep it simple, so you can bow out of the program gracefully if it’s not for you, with the extra money still in your pocket.

I love both of my Vita-Mix Super 5000, and my Omega 8002. They are paid for, and I am confident both will last me for life. They do what they are supposed to do very well. But, if you are beginning making smoothies and your own fruit and vegetable juices, go cheap at first, then after you have decided you are going to commit to this lifestyle change, then go for it.

To continue, if you come up short at the thrift store or don’t want to use a used juicer or blender, go to Wal-Mart®. You will find as inexpensive a blender or juicing machine there as you will find, anywhere. You can even purchase it, online.

Blenders are for making smoothies, but if you are a beginning juicer and wish to buy something somebody has never used, I would recommend purchasing a juicer such as the Juiceman Jr. 700-Watt Juicer

I don’t remember if I read any juicer reviews before I bought my first juicer or even what brand it was, but about thirteen years ago, I bought my own Juiceman Jr. I saw it on TV, and thought the Juiceman knew what he was talking about. I bought the base model for about thirty dollars, or so. Since then, they have doubled or even tripled in price.

My juiceman still works, and I use it every day. It is white, and is stained from using it. That's what you get when you buy a white juicing appliance, instead of black or stainless.

I also use my Omega 2002. The juiceman never breaks, and when my omega is down, I always have the juiceman to fall back on, due to ordering a new plastic juice strainer (Which breaks every couple years, or so and costs a few dollars, so no big deal.)

The machine (Juiceman Jr.) is basically pretty easy to use, and clean, but is under powered when you try to stuff too many vegetables and fruits in at one time. You have to cut up the larger veggies in the juiceman and omega. The juiceman is not high-performance. Mine was the bottom of the line, and they are now more powerful.

My Juiceman® Jr. juices fast, is easy to clean, makes a nutritious glass of juice, and is still ticking after all these years.

Note- As said previously, I bought my Juiceman® Jr. Juicer I think over 13 years ago. Since that time, I realize they made a few improvements in power, etc. So, the current models they produce probably perform much better than the older machine, I own. But, mine still does the job. You just can't stuff too much at one time down the funnel, and you have to cut the larger veggies in smaller pieces to fit down the smaller feeding funnel. I would although, buy another juiceman juicer.
